The basic ingredient of any food item in India, the onions - are making the aam admi cry. With the prices of the onions going up by 245%, the people are now blaming the government for the spiralling prices, says it is difficult for them to run their household. Onion prices have again touched Rs 70 per kg, rising by Rs 10 per kg, in the retail market in the national capital because of lower supplies in the wholesale market. In a debate moderated by TIMES NOW's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami, panelists -- Randeep Singh Surjewala, Leader, Congress; Lord Meghnad Desai, Economist; Ravi Shankar Prasad, Deputy Leader of Opposition, Rajya Sabha; Derek O'Brien, Chief Whip & MP, Rajya Sabha, TMC and Vinod Mehta, Editorial Chairman, Outlook -- discuss whether, with onion prices going up by more than 245%, can the Congress claim to represent the aam aadmi's concerns?
