Summer is winding down, meaning seasonal ice cream stands will soon be coming to a close. However that doesn’t mean icy treats are being left in the dust with the colder months approaching.

7-Eleven In Japan is hopping onboard the autumn themed frozen treats bus by offering a green tea and azuki bean infused ice cream bar. It’s basically a layered, thick popsicle.

The outer shell is bright green, comprised of green tea ice while the center of the bar is made from azuki beans.

The treat was recently released in Japan. Considered a high-end, premium item at the convenience store chain, it retails for a little over $1.30 per bar.

A Japanese dessert blogger named Nico opted to try the bar. According to Nico, the outer layer is extremely icy with a slight bitter taste.

There is reportedly no hint of milk or creaminess in the green tea portion, so the full taste can be captured. As for the azuki beans, they were found to be quite sweet and could balance out the tartness of the green tea.
