Libraries and books are kind of like cars and wheels right? One doesn't go without the other?

Well, a new library is opening in Texas that doesn’t have any paper books in it.
All of the media available to check out from the BiblioTech library in Bexar County, Texas is digital.

They have around 10 thousand e-books that residents of the area, including the city of San Antonio, can check out for free.

One good thing about digital content libraries is that there are no late fees for e-books if they are borrowed through the patron’s own device, because the file is only usable for the 14 day initial rental period.

Although most of their content is available online, the library building houses 600 e-readers and 48 computer stations, along with various laptops and tablets that can be borrowed and used by the public.

Library patrons must be residents of the area with a valid proof of address and register with the 3M Cloud Library app to access the digital library.

The app has a desktop feature that allows people to read the e-books on a computer screen too.
