STORY: Police used water cannons and tear gas to disperse the crowds at a protest in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Sunday just hours after the opposition party held a rally to challenge the country's parliamentary election results.
Protesters attempted to destroy metal barricades that police set up to prevent the crowds from marching to the Royal Palace.
The violence left one person injured.
The Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) is protesting alleged election fraud. The party says it won 63 seats in parliament compared to the Hun Sen's Cambodian People's Party, which won 68 of the 123 seats. Official results say the CNRP only took 55.
