Presented here is a lecture-cum- demonstration video (Hindi) of Gat in Kathak by the famous Kathak dancer, Pali Chandra. Gat in kathak is the stylised way of walking used in the Kathak’s Nritta piece. Gat emphasizes the co-ordination of the foot steps and facial expressions.
