Summer 2015 release dates are coming and going fast and furious and one of the biggest franchises of all-time has staked its claim and revealed its official title! Just recently, we learned that Marvel was moving Ant-Man from its original November 6th, 2015 release to a prime summer spot on July 31st - just 2 weeks after Warner Bros is set to release Superman and Batman onto the big screen. The move is reportedly a way to keep the new superhero from having to go head-to-head with super spy James Bond. That was followed by news that the 5th Pirates of the Caribbean film would be vacating its July 10th release date for a potential 2016 release. Are you still with me out there? So that brings us to the latest blockbuster summer release to hit in 2015 and that's the previously delayed Jurassic Park 4. You may remember that the film was originally supposed to begin production this past summer for a release next year, but because of budget and script issues, the film was delayed. The original script was written by Rise of the Planet of the Apes writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, however it sounds like director Colin Trevorrow and his his Safety Not Guaranteed writer, Derek Connolly have made significant changes to that draft and Universal is excited with what they've delivered. They have given the film a prime June 12th, 2015 release and a new title. The film will now be called Jurassic World, which hints that previous reports that the film will revolve around a new park may be accurate. Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two installments will produce the film along with Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley. As for casting, it's unclear if any of the original cast members will return, but Bryce Dallas Howard, Garrett Hedlund & David Oyelowo were reportedly being eyed for roles prior to the delay and sources are reporting the three actors are still in contention. Right now, it looks like Jurassic World have that June 12th spot all to itself, but 2015 is already crowded with big franchises like The Avengers, Superman & Batman, Star Wars, The Fantastic Four &The Terminator set to release that year. Fox's animated Bureau of Otherworldly Operations is set to release the weekend before Jurassic World, followed by Assassin's Creed and Pixar's Inside Out set to hit theaters the following week. So where does Jurassic World place among your most anticipated movies of 2015 and what do you think that title is referring to?
