Israeli authorities have closed the Muslim section of the Ibrahim Mosque in the city of Hebron, also known as al-Khalil, for two days so that the illegal settlers could celebrate the Jewish New Year. Israel also handed in a notice to the municipality in the city informing them that they would take control of another section in the mosque.
