While touring through Australia on his boat, Ryan Blair was basically kept hostage on a desolate island by a huge crocodile. While staying on Governor Island, the 37-year-old adventurer realized that he didn’t have enough supplies and made the decision to head back to the mainland but upon getting in his kayak, Blair encountered the crocodile which was scoping him out in the water.
According to Blair, the massive reptile was only about 13 feet away from his kayak.
Blair stated “If this croc wanted to take me, it wouldn't have been an issue. I was scared for my life. I was hard-core praying for God to save me.”
Blair claimed every time he tried to leave, the croc would stalk him and then go after him, chasing him back to the island. The back and forth battle of the wits between man and crocodile went on for two weeks.
Thankfully a local man noticed a light at the island and went out to investigate. Once he realized Blair needed help, the resident took him onboard his boat.
