Recipe for preparing flat Arab bread with Elnakhleh thyme
Suitable for 7-8 bread:
Dough’s components: 1 kg. flour, 1 spoon salt, 2 spoons yeast,
3 glasses of water, 1 spoon olive oil.
Preparing Instructions: Put the dough’s components all together, till having soft texture. Divide the dough to 7-8 equal units & make balls. Put the balls on a clean sheet & cover it for ¼ hour.
Make the balls flat till you have a desirable size, & wait till swelling under the sheet for 1-1½ hour (depending on the swelling condition).
Imprint your fingers in the bread to make dent, & smear thyme on it. Put it in beforehand heated oven (250 C) & bake till browning.
Components for bread coating with thyme:
100 gr. thyme, glass of olive oil, mix it till having homogenous texture.
Other Usable Possibilities to Elnakhleh thyme:
1. Condiment for salad.
2. Supplement for “Labane” or on slice with “Labane”.
3. To immerse bread into oil & thyme as a delicious & nutritious
supplement.
4. It’s recommended to immerse slice or bread into olive oil & thyme
in addition of cup of tea.
5. It’s recommended to add thyme to cheese toast with tomato.
6. Condiment for Pizza or Pasta.

7. To coat entire fowl with paste made of olive oil & thyme, before
putting in the oven.
8. In or on chickpea/sesame paste.
