Vast canyon discovered beneath Greenland ice

With the advent of satellite imagery, it seems that every inch of the earth's surface has already been mapped out. But scientists studying climate change in Greenland have come upon an exciting new discovery that pre-dates human life. The planet's longest canyon has gone unnoticed until now.
