Lindsay Lohan has skipped out on the Venice Film Festival. Her film "The Canyons" premiered at the fest on Friday (August 30). The movie's director told the media that she was supposed to be there, but a rep for the actress said Lohan was never confirmed to attend. The actress recently completed a court-ordered 90 day stint in rehab and has been working to get her career back on track.

Nicolas Cage, on the other hand, was at the festival. The actor was on hand to represent his film, "Joe," where he plays a hot-headed, bourbon-swigging southerner. Cage took time to pose for photos and sign autographs for fans. His film is one of the 20 in competition for the festival's top award, the Golden Lion.

Fergie and Josh Duhamel have welcomed a baby boy. The singer gave birth in Los Angeles on Thursday (August 29). They named him Axl Jack Duhamel. The baby boy is the couple's first child.
