U.N. Syria poison probe to finish Friday

It's a short, sharp mission for the U.N. chemical weapons inspectors in Syria.
They set off for a third day of investigation from their Damascus hotel on Thursday.
They're investigating last week's suspected poison gas attack, that killed hundreds of civilians in rebel-held territory outside the capital.
But they'll only have four days on the ground to finish the job.
U.N. chief Ban Ki-moon, in Vienna for an award, urged the international community to wait for the inspectors' report, as the U.S. began talk of air strikes against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

"I have spoken with President Obama yesterday. We discussed how the U.N. and the world can work together, particularly with the United States, how we can expedite the process of investigation."
