Shah Rukh Khan's Eid release Chennai Express has successfully crossed the coveted mark of 200 crore in the domestic market, broke the record of Aamir Khan's '3 Idiots' and had thus finally created a history in the world of Indian cinema.
After grossing more than Rs. 200 crore, Rohit Shetty's directorial movie Chennai Express became the highest grosser film till date. The movie also broke the record of an 'All Time Blockbuster' film '3 Idiots' that collected Rs. 202.57 nett.
The flick was made with a budget of 75 cr, and became the fastest 100-cr earner in the history of Indian cinema. The movie has done well not only in India, but also in abroad countries, especially in the USA, London and South Africa.
Seems like Chennai Express indeed became a super fast-express train!
