Many Europeans are making their way to South America to escape economic hardship back home, some through the form of dance.

The tango was created in South America by migrants from Europe and Africa in the 19th century.

And many, like Italian migrant Claudia Caporaletti, are using the tango as a link between their old and their new lives.

Al Jazeera's Monica Villamizar reports from Buenos Aires.
