Police in Slidell, Louisiana recently arrested a 23-year-old man named Richard Boudreaux.
The suspect reportedly broke into Kenny’s Seafood on January 8th of this year. Dressed in camoflauge and wearing gloves, he seemed prepared, but it turns out he forgot one crucial piece…. A mask.
The suspect previously worked at the seafood establishment and once he got in the restaurant, he recalled that the business had surveillance cameras.
He hastily grabbed a five-gallon bucket and placed it over his head before snatching money from the cash register.
After he was recently confronted by police, Boudreaux admitted to the break in, claiming he had bad blood with the owner and some money troubles. On the same night as the restaurant break in, Boudreaux unsuccessfully attempted to burglarize another local business, Jerry’s Buy and Sell.
He told cops he planned on stealing a gun because he was afraid of future gun control laws being passed. He was charged with simple burglary and attempted simple burglary.
