Usually, these credits are referring to Ed Kirkeby's band, but surprisingly, in this case it is being used as a Ben Selvin pseudonym. Originally a violinist, Ben Selvin probably made more records than any other bandleader from the late 1910's through the 1930's. After his recording career he remained active in record business as artistic director till the 1960's. This outstanding record was made in 1930, with a vocal by Smith Ballew.

Patrick,When I saw Ed Lloyd Orchestra I was surprised it was Ben Selvin rather than Freddy Martin Orchesrta.Real nice.
