Thanks to Call of Duty, Eminem is officially back with a new song called "Survival". Welcome back to your music news source online, ClevverMusic. Shady has survived you guys, I know you're stoked, like we are. Eminem dropped new fighter track "Survival" August 14, featuring Liz Rodrigues of the band New Royales. The song will be on Em's upcoming 7th solo album, however not as a single, and is the theme song to new Call of Duty: Ghosts. The hard hitting lyrics, rock guitars, and hardcore beat make this a flawless track for the upcoming video game. I mean, Eminem knows how to survive hip hop so this "Survival" theme is kinda his thing. The song starts with guitar riffs and a female wailing, "This is survival of the fittest, this is do or die/ This is winner takes it all, so take it all". Then enters Eminem with striking verses that we expect. At one point he announces his own comeback rhyming, "Cut the F***ing act like you're happy, I'm F***king back again/ With another anthem, why stop when it doesn't have to end?/ It ain't over 'til I say it's over..." Well too bad Em, we are happy that you're back. The best part of "Survival" is that his big boasting, prideful, yet uplifting tone is still here. One such line we love, "Self-esteem must be f***ing through the roofe cause trust me/ My skin is too thick and bullet proof to touch me". And to confirm our notions, Eminem himself described the song during a live stream promo saying, "The song's about fighting back and it seems like it fits 'Ghost' perfectly." We absolutely agree. We hear a music video for the song is coming soon, now we wait anxiously for more Eminem music and if this is any indication then it's coming soon. His "Recovery" followup is still untitled and there is no official release date, although we expect an announcement of album and single soon. Eminem fans or just curious watchers take a listen to "Survival" link below for ya, and tell us if you are glad Slim Shady survived his own hiatus? Thanks again for tuning in, I'm Misty Kingma I'll be back here very soon with more music news on ClevverMusic. Will the real Slim Shady please stand up?
