    Anna's Hummingbirds Fight for Mates and Territory

    It's sundown in the Sonoran Desert, and several Anna's Hummingbirds have gathered for a showdown. From their bases in a creosote patch they launch aerial assaults including nose dive bombing -- in order to gain dominance over each other, feeders, and to impress potential mates.
