India plans to resume the import of Iranian oil. In April, Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) stopped using Iranian crude. There were difficulties in securing insurance. As a result, the refinery had to replace Iran with other suppliers including Saudi Arabia and Oman. However, the quality, the delivery schedule and the price did not suit the company.
