See Lady Gaga as never before in new Machete Kills movie trailer, and a recap of everything else that has gone on in Mother Monster's universe this week. Welcome back to ClevverMusic your home for What's Up With Gaga every Friday, I'm Misty Monster. Today a brand new trailer for the Robert Rodriguez film Machete Kills debuted online and we see new images of Lady Gaga as Lady Chameleon in the upcoming film! Sporting yellow hair and holding a gun Cuba Gooding Jr. teases us saying the words, "You've seen my face" only to pull off his flesh and reveal himself as Lady Chameleon! Then we see Gaga seductively reply, "Muy Bien indeed!" wearing a red leather onesie standing at a tire store. We are freaking out and can't wait to see the film when it hits theatres October 11th. Remember Little Monsters, this is the first time we will see Gaga on the big screen playing someone other than herself. So what else has Lady Gaga been up to this week? At the start of the week she revealed her upcoming single 'Applause' cover artwork. Keeping with the 'art' theme of ARTPOP the shot turns Gaga's face into a vibrant canvas, shot by photographers Inez and Vinoodh. Mother Monster revealed to Women's Wear Daily the concept for the cover shot, "I'm every icon. I'm an icon that is made out of all the colors on the palette at every time. I have no restrictions." Gaga, of course you are. She also told WWD details about the "Applause" song saying, "I'll tell you that it is very fun... and that it's full of happiness, because what I'm saying in the song essentially is that I live for the applause." Well, we already knew that, but still, can't wait for the track to debut August 29th! Also this week, Gaga took to Twitter for a little Q&A to reveal that the Applause music video is going to debut the same day the single drops. During the Q&A she also revealed details about her new app, namely that it will be free, and available to Little Monsters worldwide. She described the app on Twitter as, "The APP is in essence, an interactive jewel case."
