Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Attack of the Friday Monsters for Nintendo 3DS developed by Millenium Kitchen and published by Level-5. Here in the west, we might not've had the chance to enjoy Millenium Kitchen's acclaimed Boku no Natsuyasumi (My Summer Vacation) series on the PlayStation, but Level-5's Guild series of more "artistic" games gives us a chance to experience a similar but different flavor. Attack of the Friday Monsters chronicles a kid named Sohto's adventures around his little outpost on a Tokyo train line, where a local TV station has been filming the (supposedly real) giant monsters that appear in the nearby fields and do battle with equally giant heroes. As they investigate, does childhood innocence melt away, or does Sohta's exploration make him stronger? Or both? Or neither? Anyway, there's a card game. This video review features video gameplay footage of (title) for Attack of the Friday Monsters and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
