U.S. stocks fell on Thursday after a series of mixed earnings from Facebook Inc (Nasdaq: FB), General Motors Company (GM), 3M Co (MMM) and The Dow Chemical Company (DOW). At 10:02 a.m. Eastern, the Dow Jones industrial average fell 70.04 points, or 0.45 percent, at 15,472.20. The S&P 500 was down 4.62 points, or 0.27 percent, at 1,681.32. The Nasdaq Composite Index rose 0.34 points, or 0.01 percent, at 3,579.94.
