The Wolverine's post credit's scene teases what's to come for X-Men:Days of Future Past, and we have the details. Ok, this is like a super spoiler zone right here. We're about to tell you all about the post credits scene in The Wolverine, so if you still want to be surprised, definitely stop watching this video and check out some of our other news stories! Ok, you've been warned. So, I just screened The Wolverine last night, and because Hugh Jackman told me so, I stayed after the credits to see this Days of Future Past sneak peak we were promised, and here it is. Two years after The Wolverine's story ends, Wolverine is walking through the airport, and as he's walking there is a commercial playing on one of the televisions for Trask Industries. He approaches security, requests a pat down, and then on the x-ray belt we see all of peoples personal metal items starting to fly in the air. And then everyone around completely freezes. Wolverine turns around and finds Ian McKellen, aka Magneto is standing behind him. Wolverine then releases his claws and is on alert, and calmly Magneto says something like "there are people out to destroy our kind, will you help me?" Wolverine then says something like "no, why should I trust you?" and Magneto looks past Wolverine and we see Patrick Stewart wheeling up as Professor Xavier (looking really happy to be there by the way). Wolverine looks stunned and says something like "how is this happening?" and Professor X says "I told you Wolverine, you're not the only one with gifts." And that's it!! Now, what does all of this mean? Well, it probably gives us more questions than answers, but let's break down the possibilities. First up, we know that this scene takes place several years after the events of X-Men: The Last Stand, which is significant. The inclusion of the Trask Industries ads on television eludes to the creation of the mutant hunting Sentinels that we KNOW will be a major threat in Days of Future Past. We also learn that Magneto has fully regained his powers after being injected with the mutant cure and he's working with none other than Charles Xavier. This is probably the biggest reveal in the scene, because, as you remember, Xavier was disintegrated by Phoenix. So how did he come back? Well, it is unclear, but if you watched the post-credits scene from The Last Stand, Professor Xavier was able to transfer his mind into another body. Perhaps he was able to transfer his mind into his body in the past and stop Phoenix from destroying him? From the footage shown at Comic Con, we know he is able to send future Logan's mind back in time into the body of his younger self in order to stop the events that create the dystopian future, so it's a theory, but doesn't explain where he's been all these years if this is how he ends up returning? But, I am just speculating here, and would LOVE to hear what you all think about this Days of Future Past sneak peak? Do you have any other guesses as to what this all could mean?
