Sheep Survives a Plane Accident

A plane descended down a field during an emergency landing and it struck a sheep that was on the property. The aircraft wing encountered damage but amazingly, the animal escaped the accident unscathed.
Talk about being the underdog in a battle. It was a showdown, sheep against plane and amazingly the animal came out on top - well, not literally.
An aircraft accident was recently reported involving a lightweight plane which was forced to conduct an emergency landing in Wales. The plane descended over a field and it struck a sheep that was on the property.
The right wing of the aircraft was the portion which hit the animal. The wing encountered damage but amazingly, the animal escaped the accident unscathed.
The pilot and his passenger were said to have no injuries resulting from the incident. A friend of the 71-year-old pilot stated “I think we’d know by now if the animal was seriously injured or not as the farmer would have been in contact. Sheep get hit all the time in Brecon and just get back up again, which is what this one did when it was hit. They’re quite tough I think.”
After the 1964 model plane was towed to a nearby airfield, the wing was fixed and the aircraft is now flying again.
