Kick Ass 2 director, Jeff Wadlow, is going FAST, in a new action vehicle. If Fast & Furious is the first thing that popped into your minds just now, you are on the right track. Sony has acquired rights to a new action franchise called Go Fast, and they will attempt to do with bad ass boats what Fast & Furious has done with bad ass cars. The story will follow DEA agents who are going after drug smugglers who transport their goods via the high seas. And according to Deadline, Kick Ass 2 director, Jeff Wadlow, is on board to direct with triple x screenwriter, Rich Wilkes penning the script. From the way it sounds, this project will be a big one for the studio, and this will also be another big opportunity for Wadlow to show us what he's made of. The new Kick Ass sequel will be the first big studio film for the director, and we recently heard that Wadlow will be writing and possibly directing Fox's new X-Men spinoff, X-Force as well. And if you're heading to Comic Con this weekend, Jeff Wadlow will be there promoting Kick Ass 2 and will be introducing the Kick Ass 2 cast to the fans. And if you are planning on going to any of the Kick Ass events there, make sure you are tweeting us updates on everything you see and hear with the hashtag ClevverSDCC.
