Now that most of the pilgrims and tourists have been evacuated, residents of the flood hit state fear they will be forgotten. It will be years before basic infrastructure like roads are rebuilt. Unemployment looms large as much of the local economy is dependent on pilgrimage traffic. But many are not even looking that far ahead as they are unsure of the availability of basic necessities in the near future.
