At the launch of the song, the Sri Lankan beauty said, "At first I was quite apprehensive about taking up the song as first of all, it's Prabhudheva, the kind of moves Prabhudheva has, also I have never done anything so desi, so I knew this would be out of my comfort zone. When Kumar ji approached me for this song, I don't know there was something that kind of clicked. They also made me hear the track and the track was amazing and I was like 'I can't let this opportunity pass' and I thought who knows this may be my only chance of working with Prabhu sir.
