Beyoncé brings the Mrs. Carter Show tour to Los Angeles, here's our review of the star-studded spectacular! You're watching ClevverMusic of course. Ok guys, I was able to attend Queen Bey's Los Angeles show July 1 at the Staples Center and let me tell you she was flawless, fab, and of course fierce. There's a lot of expectation going into a King B concert, and the diva delivered. There was no denial as to who was the Queen at the show, with images of Beyoncé in a tiara flashed on the screens overhead at least a dozen times. Bey opened the show with "Run the World", complete with fire, fireworks and bootylicious dancing. Seriously, when you're singing live and doing the choreographed dance moves better than the professional dancers- that's a feat. In at least ten outfit changes we saw Beyoncé sing her way through tons of her hits including "Diva", "Baby Boy" and mid-way through the show flew over the mosh pit to a mirrored stage in the middle of the crowd for more hits including my favorite B song "Love On Top". At that point she was donning her blue sequined bodysuit, my favorite costume of the show. Still on her island in the crowd, Bey sang Destiny's Child song "Survivor" and I was sure Kelly Rowland or Michelle Williams were gonna come out for a cameo, but no such luck. And later when she performed "Crazy in Love" I was hoping Jay-Z would pop out for his rap verse, but again, no dice. She did however sing a Whitney Houston cover and do her latest island flavored song "Grown Woman"! You could tell throughout the show her steps were well thought out with planned towels wipes from the crew and sips of water! Every time she wiped down her face she threw a white towel to the crowd. And I was surprised at how often Bey ventured down into the crowd to shake hands and luckily no one got frisky with Sasha Fierce. And if we didn't already love Beyoncé, it was adorable that every time Bey stopped performing to talk to the audience that she thanked all in attendance for coming, and for supporting her career so that she can do what she loves. Bey kept the party going by calling folks out for sitting down and not standing up the whole time! But what a star-studded audience it was. The celebrity fans showed up when the Queen came to town: Rob Pattinson, Lea Michele, Naya Rivera and boyfriend Big Sean, Jessica Alba, Kylie Minogue and more were at the concert. Bey closed the night with inspirational track Halo and thanking her entire production crew, pretty sweet. Overall, we thought the show was artistic in concept with themed video packages between songs and dazzling in showmanship and choreography. Not to mention Bey had an all-female band, there's no doubt that women run the world and Beyonce is the Queen. Well, the music world at least. Only Beyoncé could put on a world tour without a new album out. Thanks for watching my review my Clevver friends. See you soon with more music news right here on ClevverMusic.
