Lage American Flag: How To Properly Clean

Does your flag look like this one?

You're not alone. Flags get grimy, however it doesn't seem right to toss them in with the laundry.

It is perfectly acceptable to wash your flag by hand though, and you should. Dirt can wear out the fabric of your flag and dull the colors.

Wash your flag in the sink with soapy water, rinse it thoroughly and hang it up to dry.

Be sure it is completely dry prior to you save it, though. A wet flag will become moldy ... and no one wants that.

A clean flag will have a much longer life however when it's time for a brand-new flag, please go to us at GrandOldUnion.com. We have stunning, long lasting American Flags. 5 % of the profit from our flags goes to support homeless veterans.
