The US Supreme Court has ended its session this week with not only historic rulings on voting rights and same-sex marriage but also rulings in favour of big corporations. During this term, a majority of five justices have ruled in favour of companies, including American Express, in lawsuits where consumers and employees sue as collective groups. The US Chamber of Commerce, which fights for the interests of big businesses, argues such class action lawsuits are often frivolous. Al Jazeera's Tom Ackerman reports from Washington.
