Grumman F-14A Tomcats vs. Misubishi A6M Zeroes

From "The Final Countdown" (1980). The USS Nimitz is sent back in time to December 6, 1941 -- one day before the strike on Pearl Harbor. In this scene, the F-14 interceptors "play" with the Zeroes trying to fend them off without shooting them down. As with most pre-CG-effects movies about the Pacific War, the planes standing in for the A6M2 Zeroes are actually specially-modified AT-6 Texans mocked up to look like Zeroes (since from the side - but not the wings - the two planes are remarkably similar). The AT-6s had to fly a full throttle, the F-14s nearly at stall speed, to keep them in the same shot.
