The economy in Turkey has been booming for the last ten years - which has had a lot to do with the country's political stability. Around 500 German companies are operating there. But in light of recent mass protests in Istanbul and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s increasingly authoritarian leadership, German companies are questioning the direction the country is taking.
