Four years after Prince of Pop Michael Jackson's passing where do his legacy and children stand? Thanks for always tuning in to ClevverMusic for your music news online. It's been four whole years since Michael Jackson passed away unexpectedly on June 25th 2009 at the early age of 50. Michael died from cardiac arrest caused by a lethal combo of prescription drugs and his death was later ruled a homicide, shocking fans around the world. But don't worry, his worldwide fans did not forget today's sad anniversary of his death, showering his mausoleum at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles with thousands of flowers today. We hope Michael feels the love. No doubt his legacy has been rocked by family drama, crazy accusations against his character and court trials, but that does not trump his huge body of work. His Mother Katherine Jackson is still battling against AEG Live, the 83-year-old filed suit in 2010 alleging the promoter's hired cardiologist Conrad Murray for Michael and failed to supervise him. Conrad is currently serving four years in prison, convicted of involuntary manslaughter. We don't think this trial will have a last effect on his legacy, and people will continue to celebrate his artistry and music. Michael died with millions in debt but now has an estimated net worth of half a billion dollars. Michael is survived by his three children nicknamed Prince, Paris, and Blanket whom all live with their Grandmother Katherine. So how are the children holding up since the tragic death of their Father? Prince is 16 has dabbled in entertainment as a guest correspondent for Entertainment Tonight while 15-year-old sister Paris is not doing as well, recovering from a rumored suicide attempt. 11-year-old Blanket seems to be the shy one of the group often seen out and about with big brother Prince. We can only imagine what these children have gone through these past four years, being thrust into the spotlight seemingly against their will. We wish the children the best and the rest of the Jackson family as they carry out Michael's lasting legacy. Tell me what you think Michael will be remembered for the most? Leave a comment! And I'll respond to my favorite ones. Thanks again for watching ClevverMusic, I'm Misty Kingma see you in the next video.
