The economy in Turkey has been booming for the last ten years - which has had a lot to do with the country's political stability. Around 500 German companies are operating there. Turkey is no longer seen as a low-wage economy, but instead as an attractive free market.
But in lite of recent mass protests in Istanbul and President Recep Tayyip Erdogans increasingly authoritarian leadership, German companies are questioning the direction the country is taking.
