Connemara Gaels 7-11 Galway 1-8

The Connemara Gaels continued their winning streak with a lopsided win over Galway on Saturday evening. The Gaels put their foot on the accelerator from the throw in and did not let up for the 60 minutes. The game featured a hat trick of goals by Kevin McGrath.

The first of the 7 goals was netted by Ian Burke, and shortly after being introduced to the fray Galway U-21 player, Cathal Mulryan, scored two top drawer goals, the second even more impressive then the first. The Gaels got some great performances from Noel Graham, Michael Lundy, Enda O'Gorman, Ciaran O'Donnell and Damien Comer. The game could have been much closer as Gaels keeper Eoin Connelly denied Galway almost certain goals with three wonderful saves while the affair was still for the taking. The Gaels still unbeaten with 3
out of 3 and Galway still looking for that first win.

Gaels: E. Conneeley, C. O'Donnell, D. Doolan, C. Mulkerrins, E. Gorman, C. Seoighe, N. Graham, T. Mullins, S. Connelly, D. Comer, M. Lundy, I. Burke, K. McGrath.
