Neighbors can easily make life miserable for their fellow residents. A neighborhood in the small town of Austin, Arkansas is showcasing some unusual outdoor décor.

It all began in March of this year, when a few items began popping up. Spray painted signs are one feature. Two toilets sitting on treetops are another highlight.

Residents of a new development called the Shadow Creek Subdivision are the ones who see those signs. The spray painted signs state “Trailer Park Coming Soon”.

Although that is not true, locals were originally baffled as to why the signs and toilets made an appearance. Apparently a male property owner near the subdivision installed the eyesores as a form of revenge following a dispute between himself and the developer of the adjacent land.

The new homeowners are concerned about this impacting home sale values.

The local sheriff stated “Who is going to buy a house where you see signs about a trailer park coming soon? It borderlines harassment. However, if you own property you can do with the property as you please.”
