This tutorial is conceived to teach our faculty, employees, and students about copyright regulation and how it relates to them. BYU's authorized Copyright Policy states, "All constituents of the BYU community—faculty, employees, scholars, volunteers, and patrons—are anticipated to esteem the rights of copyright owners as established by applicable state and government regulations. constituents of the BYU community who disregard the Copyright principle may be in violation of the place of worship Educational System respect Code; may jeopardize their paid work; may location themselves at risk for possible legal activity; and may acquire personal liability" (University Handbook). easily asserted, copyright compliance is a citizenship topic.
