Excellent performance and perfect choice of Armenian Music to skate on Bravo JEFF Congratulation
C'est la classe Jeff, vous avez très bien danssé sur la musique arménien.
A prodigious performance, JEFF!!!

I love this subdued energy & the warming sounds in the Armenian melodies.
On my father's side, I am Armenian. I love Armenian music. I love it so much that
I even have my own duduk which I'm struggling to play.))

Good luck,
-- Yossi
Congratulations to all Armenian's around the world. This was a beautiful performance from Jeff Buttle. When I was watching it I could not breath. If any of you did not know that Michelle Kwan's couch was an Armenian "Harutyn Harutuynyan" and she performed to an Armenian music as well. This was an amazing experience fo me and I Thank my friend who send me this link. Barov mnak im sireli hayer.
Jeff Buttle has honored Armenian people around the world with his moving performance. Not only did he move us, but the music inspired him as well as the audience and judges. Regarding the announcer's comment, she not only insulted Armenian culture but Jeff's interpretation of the music. I believe that she not only has no knowledge about Armenian music but specifically has no clue about the significance of this song in Armenian culture. She should educate herself before commenting on any ethnic music. It is obvious Jeff and his coach did their research.
Very inspiring, heartfelt, challenging performance, indeed. He dances with grace, but confidently at the very same time - very gutsy. The announcer is right - the music is difficult to dance too (she is also wrong and exhibits her rather small brained attitude for the age of homo sapiens she is, "THIS armenian music"). Especially the Krunk (Grunk) part does not lend itself to incorporating the technical elements very easily, because it is smooth, yet it has the right "yelevejner" (sorry, don't know the English word for it) in it. But while being difficult to dance to, the music nevertheless allows him to dance at a higher level by supporting and inspiring him. Like a brilliant climber who seeks a higher peak to climb, the brilliant skater also seeks a more challenging tune to dance to.
Sweet! Canadian skates to Armenian music! Our culture is spreading - this is OUR CENTURY. Thanks to Yehrisabet for sending me this video. And btw, I like the guy's style. He dances with guts.
Great combination: Armenian music and heartful performance:)
This is the most effortless and graceful performance I've seen by a male skater, drawn out partly by the soaring emotion and intricacy of these pieces. Everyone who loves skating or dance should see this!
great performance! HOWEVER THAT ANNOUNCER KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT THAT POWERFUL ARMENIAN MUSIC!
