Indonesia forest fire smoke chokes Singapore

Every year during the dry season in Indonesia, fires are lit to help farmers clear their land after the harvest.
The smoke from the fires has spread as far as Singapore, creating the worst air pollution it has seen in 16 years.
Singapore has urged Indonesia to take action against the farming practice known as slash and burn.
Al Jazeera's Nidhi Dutt reports from the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.
