Australian woman seeks diagnosis on 'French' accent
  • 11 years ago
An Australian woman is seeking a clear diagnosis on whether or not she has an extremely rare condition described as foreign accent syndrome.

Leanne Rowe from Tasmania claims a bus crash eight years ago left her with a French accent, even though she's never been to France.

Doctors say the syndrome is caused by tissue damage to part of the brain, affecting speech.
