    Budget cuts blamed for Spain brain drain

    Investing in innovation was one of the government's priorities before the recession hit Spain.
    Scientists, however, say that the financial crisis has damaged the country's future. They're holding demonstrations against government budget cuts, arguing that the new policies are forcing some of the country's best and brightest away from Spain.
