Disney lays claim to some coveted release dates for two untitled Marvel films, leaving fans to speculate all of the possibilities. Timing is everything in Hollywood. With Marvel's phase two in motion, everyone is waiting with much anticipation to see which characters will show face in Phase 3. And, while no one at Disney is releasing any specific details just yet, there are definitely big things happening in development because the studio has nabbed May 6th, 2016 and May 5th, 2017 as the big release dates for two new Marvel films. May release dates have always done well for Marvel. Of course with their record breaking, billion dollar hit, The Avengers which opened in May of 2012, as well as the fifth highest grossing film of all time, Iron Man 3 opening this past May, we can understand why Disney is wasting no time in claiming that territory. But, based on that timeline, which Marvel movies should we expect to see? Well, that's a little tough to guess, just yet. But lets speculate for a moment. It's very likely that we could see additional installments to some of the characters we've already seen like Thor, Captain America, and even Iron Man. The possibility of an Iron Man 4, however, will likely depend on whether or not Robert Downey Jr. wants to come back to the franchise if he does appear in The Avengers 2. We also have a hunch that maybe one of these options could be Doctor Strange, since Marvel President Kevin Feige has been dropping hints recently that hes interested in him, telling Collider that Strange is quote "sorta up next for us to dig into and explore."But Marvel recently re-acquired the rights to Daredevil, Punisher, and Blade, which could also be potential properties.Until we know more about these untitled movies , Marvel is keeping us busy with plenty of new releases including Thor:The Dark World on November 8th 2013, Captain America:The Winter Soldier on April 4th, 2014, Guardians of the Galaxy on August 1st 2014, The Avengers 2 on May 1st 2015, and Ant-Man on November 6th 2015.
