The upcoming, Tomb Raider reboot packs some extra girl power with the announcement of it's new screenwriter.Variety is reporting that Buffy The Vampire Slayer screenwriter, Marti Noxon will on board to pen the new Tomb Raider script. Noxon is most known for her work on television shows like Mad Men, Glee, and Angel, but has started making her transition into film recently with her work on "I Am Number Four" and "Fright Night." Noxon has also adapted the up and coming adaption of The Glass Castle which will star Jennifer Lawrence.Paramount's 2001 release of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, starting Angelina Jolie, drew enough of an audience for the studio to want to release the follow up film, Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life, but the second movie didn't make enough money to warrant a third film. But after the release of Square Enix's new Tomb Raider video game, earlier this year, there has been more of an interest among fans to see more of Lara Croft on the big screen. We haven't heard any casting rumors just yet, but if you all had the job of casting director, who would you like to see take on Lara Croft this time around? And, what do you all think of Marti Noxon writing this script?Leave us your thoughts on this down below, and chat with us too over on twitter @ClevverMovies.
