Former president Nelson Mandela remained in a Pretoria hospital for a third day on Monday (June 10) as South Africans wished the 94-year-old well.
Mandela was admitted to hospital on Saturday (June 8) with a recurring lung infection. It is his fourth hospital stay since December and the government says his condition is "serious but stable". During previous hospital visits it had highlighted his "good spirits".
A growing phalanx of international and local media assembled in front of the Mediclinic Heart Hospital where Mandela is believed to be staying.
