When Microsoft debuted the Xbox One, they gloated about how sensitive the new Kinect 2.0 is. The new Kinect will record 30fps in 1080HD, and has the ability to detect the slightest motion, including a turn of the wrist. It even features the ability to read your heartbeat while exercising.
Every new Xbox One system comes packaged with a Kinect 2, and this time around, you don't have any option but to use it. Xbox One will not work without Kinect being connected. This doesn't seem like an issue until you realize that Kinect 2.0 is always listening to your conversations. In this commentary, I break down the privacy issues with Kinect and what it means for the future of Xbox One.
