Penélope Cruz will reportedly be playing a Bond girl in the next follow-up film. She is expected to begin filming her scenes in the summer of 2014.
Penélope Cruz is smart, funny and beautiful. The Oscar winning actress will reportedly be playing a Bond girl in the next film which will be a follow-up to last year’s movie, Skyfall.
The upcoming flick will be the 24th official James Bond feature to hit movie theaters. Cruz is expected to begin filming her scenes for the role in the summer of 2014.
If everything goes through, Cruz will be 40 years of age during the making of the feature. That will make her the oldest Bond girl ever. Honor Blackman, another bond girl was 39 back in 1964 when she starred in the series.
A production source stated “The producers have tried to get Penélope before, but she has never been available because of other commitments. The discussions have been going on for some time and they are working out the contract details now.”
What do you think? How do you like the idea of Penelope Cruz playing a bond girl?
