    Spain has long been known for its excellent cuisine ranging from its culinary constants such as jamón and olive oil to the pintxos of San Sebastián, the paella of Valencia and the suckling pig of Segovia. The basis of Spanish cuisine is good quality ingredients and simple home cooking,
    Each of Spain’s regions has their own specialities – here are just a few examples:
    In Andalucía cuisine is of the highest quality, but the one thing you must try is the famous cold soup of ‘gazpacho’.
    In Aragón Spanish Jamón is thing to try in Aragón – look out for restaurants that offer a traditional ham carving.
    The Basque Country is one of the world's top gastronomic destinations, with key gourmet centres in San Sebastian, Hondarribia and Bilbao.
    Navarra in the north of Spain is a place to walk through, to relax in and to enjoy its excellent cuisine such as cheese and chorizo.
    Renowned as the home of paella, the Region of Valencia is home to vibrant cities like Valencia and Alicante, and some of the most boisterous fiestas in Spain like Las Fallas or La Tomatina.
