For over twelve years, the photographer Loeber-Bottero has covered every inch of the labyrinths of the Serinissima to build a very personal vision of Venice, both poetic and extraordinary.
His photographs were all taken at night and give the city a very original atmosphere, hardly disturbed by the presence of people. The book revolves around nighttime strolls which provide a new insight into the corners of the city, noble or popular, sumptuous or modest, sacred or profane. The reader is led progressively into the mystery of Venice seen from a different angle that will change his mind about everything he thought he knew about the city.
