Bummed that you don't have enough bars in your area? Then consider moving to North Dakota.

A study that looked at how many bars there are per capita in each state found that North Dakota tops the list with one bar for every 1,620 people.

Montana came in a close second followed by Wisconsin, South Dakota and Nebraska with a bar for every 3,102 people to round out the top five states.

On the other end of the list, with the least number of bars per capita, is Virginia with a bar for every 64,773 residents in their state.

That’s nearly double the number in New Hampshire, which is the next lowest on the list with a bar for every 34,689 residents.

The data was put together by Inforum based on 2011 Census results.

If you cared more about individual cities, New Orleans tops the list with 8.6 bars for every ten thousand households.

New York City is not even in the top 10 of the bar list inspite of its numerous bars.
