If you see a Caucasian headed out of the office to grab a quick lunch, chances are they’re going to Taco John’s or Culvers.

So, now that you think about it, do you ever notice your Asian friends go to Jamba Juice a lot? How about your Hispanic amigos – frequently find them carrying a bag from In-and-Out Burger around mealtime? How about El Pollo Loco?

Everyone working together, though, made fast food restaurants 6 of the 10 highest volume businesses in the US, with McDonalds earning the distinction of most served.

Subway, Starbucks, Burger King, Wendy’s, and Taco Bell also landed in the top 10.

Region by region the top chain choices pretty much reflected the national rankings, with the only big surprise being a pronounced fondness for Dunkin Donuts in the Northeast.
